Mr. George Robb, a well-known resident of the Tyagarah district, died at his home at Tyagarah on Wednesday night, under somewhat peculiar circumstances.

He was at Byron Bay on Wednesday, and appeared to be in his usual health and spirits. He returned to his house during the afternoon, and after tea complained of feeling unwell. He said he had a bad headache, and later complained of severe pains in the ear.

As he appeared to be seriously ill, medical aid was summoned from Mullumbimby, but Mr. Robb died before the doctor arrived. Deceased, who was 38 years of age, leaves a widow and four children.

He had resided at Tyagarah for more than 20 years. His mother and father reside at Byron, Bay. Dr. Gibson held a post-mortem and an inquest is to be held. It was rumoured that a tick was found embedded in Mr. Robb's head.
