Note: Death notice: Death notice: PIPER, Colin Mitchell OAM 19212016. Born in Llangothlan, NSW, raised in Sydney (a Burnside Boy). Brother of Jack and Keith (both dec'd). Married to Beatrice (Orr) in 1948 and settled in Wynnum, Brisbane. Worked in PMG/Telstra. A Member of Wynnum Manly Rotary Club for 60 years. A community volunteer in ARAD, SkillShare/WYNMet, Probus, and many other local organisations. Active Member of the "Tuesday Club". Passed away aged 95 years. Will be sadly missed by Beatrice, his Wife of 68 years; Son Bruce and Beverley; Daughter Christine and Glenn; Grandchildren Ainsley and Craig, Elizabeth and David, Zarndra, Dustin, Jorja, Kallum and Jordan and Great-grandchildren Zara, Maddox and Jaz and all the extended Family. We thank the Staff of Wynnum BlueCare for their care and kindness in the final months of Colin's Life. A Life Well Lived. Privately Cremated as per his wishes Publication: The Courier-Mail |
