He died at 42 Trail Street, Wagga Wagga from Auricular Fibrillation, Chronic Myocarditis and Chronic Nephritis. He was last seen by a Dr Alan F Smith on the day he died. The death information was his son Samuel who was living at Mangoplah. Witnesses to his burial were George Hanson and J Dennis. Note: Mrs S. M. Geddes Mrs S. M. Geddes Mrs Sheila Mary Geddes, who died recently, was born at Wagga Wagga 29 years ago. She was the wife of Mr Robert Jack Geddes, and the third daughter of Mr J. J. Byrnes and the late Mrs Clarice Byrnes, of "Wellington Court,'' Darley-road, Manly (formerly Wagga). Mrs Geddes is survived by three sisters, Mesdames Veronica Carberry (Coolac), Patricia Burley (Manly) and Josephine McRoatie (Manly), and a brother, Brian (Coopernook). She was educated at the Presentation Convent, Wagga, and served for four years in the A.W.A.S. The last rites were administered by the Rev. Dr. H. Davis, of Darlinghurst. Requiem Mass was celebrated at the Church of Mary Immaculate, Manly, by the Very Rev. Monsignor J. McDonald. P.P., who also officiated at the interment at French's Forest Cemetery.
