FUNERAL OF MRS HANNAM.

The funeral of Elizabeth Hannam, wife of Mr. Reuben Hannam, of Gregadoo road, took place yesterday at the Wagga Cemetery. Deceased, who was 70 years of age, was an old resident of this district, and leaves a large grown-up family. A tribute of respect was paid the family in the large attendence of town and country folk at the funeral. Rev. A. Mosley. Rector of St. John's, was the officiating clergy man. The pallbearers were Messrs. J. T. Holder, J. Rudd, W. C. Haridan, and E. J. Shadbolt. Mr. J. M'lntsh carried out tlhe funeral arrangements.

Elizabeth Hannam, nee Brooker died on the 8th of May 1905, the following is
from the Wagga Advertiser Wagga Wagga.

Death of an old Resident.

There died at her residence, Gregadoo Road at an early hour last evening,
Mrs Elizabeth Hannam, who reached the ripe age of 77 years, no less than 50
of which had been spent in the district.

During that time Mrs Hannam, needles to say, became widely known and gained
a large circle of friends. The deceased leaves a grown up family of seven.
The funeral is announced to leave her late residence at 1.30 tomorrow
afternoon (Wednesday ) May 10th for the Wagga cemetery.

May 11, 1905.

The funeral of the late Mrs Elizabeth Hannam took place yesterday, the
cortege moving from the late residence Gregadoo Road at 1.30 pm. And was
largely attended by town and country residents. On arrival at the cemetery
the coffin was borne to the grave by Messrs. J.T. Holder, H.Rudd, W.C.
Harriden and B.J. Shadbolt. The Rev. A.C. Mosley officiated at the grave. Mr
John McIntyre carried out the funeral arrangements. Floral tributes from
friends were numerous.
