Ella is next listed in the Electoral Rolls as living with Norman McLeod in 1954. Despite not marrying until 1956, she has taken his last name and is listed as Ella Florence Mcleod. They were living at 517 Anzac Parade, Kingsford. Norman was working as a Breadcarter. After Norman died in 1967, Ella contined to live at the family home. By 1980, she was living at 49 Maine Terrace, D Bay, North Pine, Queensland. Two doors up lived a family of McLeod's which may have been Normans family. |
